It all began in the Junior year of three good friends! They decided that they wanted to do something epic, something memorable to finish off their years of school before going to college. What did they come up with? The journey of a lifetime! A month long excursion to Europe in which they would see things they hadn´t seen before and learn new things about one another that they never knew!
Anyway, here we are almost a year later on this very trip! Aleksa, Madison and Katie taking Europe by storm! The first day of the trip, May 30th, was a sad day(for parents), yet an exciting day for everyone. After being dropped off at the airport and making it through security in Arizona, the three of us realized that this was it! We were on our own! With a five hour flight to Pennsylvania, a two hour layover, another seven hour flight to Lisbon, Portugal, and finally an eight hour time change that left us standing in the airport of Portugal at 8am their time, we had to begin our day with two hours of sleep and jet lag... in fact, we are still up, forty eight hours later!!
